BCCF Rafflet Ticket Money and Books Needed on Tuesday, April 19
Please bring the money for your BCCF raffle tickets to the rehearsal this Tuesday. We hope that everybody in both the orchestra and chorus will sell at least one book and hopefully more, many more!!
Remember that the money raised through this raffle benefits everybody in the organization, both orchestra and chorus and this year it is one of the few fundraisers that we do.
Please support ROCA by selling those books!
We hope that you won't have any unsold books, but if you do have any, these should come back on Tuesday as well.
UPDATED MIDI FILES - BROADWAY PARADE

Final Days for Selling Tickets-Let's Sell! Sell! Sell!
With the Rossini concert less than a week away there's not much time to get out there and sell tickets. Fraserview is a wonderful place to sing in, but it is a big venue. It would be great to fill it up as much as possible.
Right now our ticket sales are quite low, so please consider if there is anyone else you might approach who would like to attend the concert. We've worked hard (as usual!) on this one and it should be a wonderful night out for anyone who attends!

Possible Tour for Chorus
From Brigid
Since our trip to New York in 2005, I constantly receive invitations from concert tour businesses asking if we’re interested in doing this again. They include
- MidAmerica Productions - http://midamerica-music.com/
- DCINY - http://www.dciny.org/
- MCP - http://www.mcp.us/
All three of them offer the opportunity for school, college and community choirs to perform in premier venues – notably in Carnegie Hall, but also in Lincoln Center, Chicago Orchestra Hall, Washington’s Kennedy Centre, LA’s Crystal Cathedral, Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, as well as venues in Europe.
Cost would depend on many factors – where & when, how many sharing, whether we went through the company for everything or planned travel separately. The New York land package (transport to/from hotel, tour hotel, rehearsals, concert & reception) varied last time from US$1880, single occupancy, to US$969 quad occupancy (which was very cosy!), plus air-fare.
If this is something you would like to consider doing again, there are a few questions that I need answered first. Can you complete the following, and return it to me by the end of February, please?
Chorus Tour Questionnaire
Please click on the Tour Questionnaire button below to complete the Chorus tour survey.
Tour Questionnaire Information for Chorus
Some of you may have received a rather garbled version of the tour Questionnaire directly into your email box this morning which I hope you will disregard.
The best way to get to an easy version of the questionnaire is to click right at the top of the blog where it says, in red, Possible Tour for the Chorus.
Read to the bottom of that and you will find a black button to click on which says Tour Questionnaire. This leads to a really easy version to fill in and you can submit it right on line.
Sorry for the confusion.
