We believe that volunteers are invaluable to the Richmond Orchestra & Chorus Association (ROCA). We appreciate and welcome the different experiences, perspectives and knowledge our volunteers bring to promote the artistic development of young musicians and singers in our community.
The Richmond Orchestra and Chorus Association has been performing in Richmond and surrounding areas for almost 30 years. ROCA typically presents 6 concerts throughout the year – some with chorus only, some with orchestra only, and some with our full combined forces. Above all, we seek to entertain and enrich the lives of our audiences by bringing them great performances of great music.
The Board of ROCA is a mix of members of our Chorus and Orchestra, and community representatives. We are currently seeking to expand community representation in particular. ROCA is looking for board members who would like to help us grow ROCA’s noteworthy position in Richmond’s cultural soundscape.
