The Richmond Orchestra and Chorus Association has been performing in Richmond and surrounding areas for more than 30 years. We typically perform 6 concerts throughout the year – some with chorus only, some with orchestra only, and some with our full combined forces. Above all, we seek to entertain and enrich the lives of our audiences by bringing them great performances of great music.
If you would like to join one of our ensembles of highly committed and motivated musicians, please consider if you are willing to:
- Commit to weekly rehearsals on Tuesday evenings @ 7:30pm in Richmond
- Attend extra sectional practices, community events and retreats when needed
- Practice repertoire at home between rehearsals
- Commit to all scheduled concerts for the season
Richmond Orchestra welcomes applications through out the year. Openings for wind and brass players are rarer than for strings, but we are always interested to hear from experienced players.
