We are in desperate need of 6 volunteers for Ceremony of Carols - Sunday, December 11, 2016.
Currently, we need volunteers for the following positions:
- 1 volunteer to oversee the draw box
- 2 volunteers to hand out programs
- 2 volunteers to collect ticket stubs
If you know someone that is looking for high school volunteer hours or simply would like to watch the concert for free, please have them contact me at roca@roca.ca.

As we are still looking for advertisers for this concert, we would please ask that you invite your friends to the event so that we can reach at least 200 invites. As we mentioned at the AGM, it is important to show social media engagement throughout the season.
Note that there is now a Poster Distribution page in the Members' area. The posters for Ceremony of Carols are printed and ready for distribution, so if you would like to help distribute posters please sign up.

A Takes Four concert of "Music Inspired By Birds" will take place on November 6, 2016 with our Concertmaster, Larisa Labeda.
This concert will feature Music by Glinka, Alabiev, Rimski-Korsakov, V. Williams, Rachmaninow and many more. We hope you can make it!
Dear members,
At last night's board meeting, it was decided that we would not sell group tickets for the Ceremony of Carols concerts. This is mainly due to the amount of expenses to produce the concert and the limited seating in the Sanctuary of Gilmore Park United Church. We appreciate your understanding, thank you.
In an effort to keep the cost of marketing low, we are moving towards digital marketing and away from print. A page in the Members' Zone has been created with tutorials on how to forward our e-newsletters through email as well as share our events and invite your friends through Facebook.

We warmly invite you to a concert which will be given by Armenian violinist, Haik Kazazyan. He is the third prize winner of the 2015 International Tchaikovsky Competition and is widely regarded as one of the most talented violinists of his generation.
