And what a season of music it will be! The orchestra opens up the season in November with a stirring concert of music from Russia featuring cellist Tate Zawadiuk playing Shostakovich’s popular Cello Concerto. The ROCA Chorus will then bring Christmas traditions from around the world to the stage. Hear Christmas favourites from Australia to Asia, Africa to South America and everywhere in between. Always an audience favourite, ROCA Orchestra’s Rising Stars concert in February will introduce you to three young artists who are winners of the Richmond Music Festival Concerto Challenge Class. These young artists are the music stars of the future!  If you have heard the music of Paul Halley you will know you are in for a real music adventure in March as the ROCA Chorus presents Halley’s Missa Gaia.
