Youth Choir (director Allison Girvan) and B.C. Children’s Choir (director Sarona Mynhardt), it was the biggest gathering of voices in the province. Thank you to everyone who came, whether to participate in the mass choir or attend the final concert! Thank you to our Chorfest Co-Chairs, Doris Bruce, Jen Dufour and lead organizers, Laura Rhead, Amy Koop, Brian Dobbin, Brigid Coult and the Chorfest Committee for all their hard work organizing, marshalling and entertaining the choristers all weekend. A special thanks to Chorfest Director, Brian Tate for bringing his enthusiasm and music to the masses. And soloist Mebrat “Mimi” Beyene was amazing. We are still electrified and that is why we sing!
